Summary: Front desk very helpful, easy get there from train station. Room too small, no air conditioning, the fan is noise cause problem to sleep.

Summary: A beautiful place to stay with several excellent dining options. We were there during Switzerland's national day. The music at the square was unforgettable. The staff are polite and extremely helpful.

Summary: WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.
