Summary: This hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of town. Only a five minute walk from the train station and very convenient. Alicia at reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also, the pizzeria adjacent to the hotel has very good food and hotel customers receive a discount! . An overall winner of a hotel

Summary: Really friendly staff in a lovely hotel. The staff even sorted out a lunch for us as we had to check out before breakfast to catch an early train. Highly recommend.

Summary: A beautiful place to stay with several excellent dining options. We were there during Switzerland's national day. The music at the square was unforgettable. The staff are polite and extremely helpful.

Summary: WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.
