Positive: I booked Sterling Shivalik Chail based on a previous amazing experience with Sterling, but this time I noticed a few areas that need attention. I planned this holiday for relaxation, but Room 306 (Super Deluxe) faced a construction site instead of the mountains. I dealt with loud noise throughout my stay. Secondly, I suggest providing two-wheeler rentals for local sightseeing. Driving a car or cab through the mountains for short 3–4 km trips is very hectic; bikes would be much more convenient. Overall, the experience was still good and the food was delicious. Kindly consider my feedback for future stays. Thanks and love, Sterling! Regards

Positive: BOOKING.com gave me wrong info about the cost meal plan! According to the offer from booking.com, I would pay 650 Inr per day for bfast and dinner! The hotel negated thst snd charged1250 Inr per day person!!! Nit nice!

Negative: I could have been told the location is isolated and everything had to be done at the hotel - meals etc. I wish booking.com is more proactive next time

Negative: There was no wifi, No mobile network at all, No TV signal. We were cutoff from the world completely. In case of any emergency it is almost nowhere to go. The property is almost 14 kms away from Chail contrary to the information given on the site that it is 5 kms. We felt cheated. Food also is just Okay. We were given almost cold food many times during the winters( temprature around 4* ) when you expect hot food

Summary: Did not like the stay there. We will not go back to this property & will not recommend it to anyone
