Beautiful four bedroom two bath home situated on a bluff overlooking the lake! (Current lake levels are down significantly due to dam repairs and drought). You will need to day trip to beaches due to low levels.
Central air insures your comfort on those hot summer days.
Nothing beats coming home from the beach and taking a hot shower. Sit on the wrap-around deck and watch the sunset!
Two Master suites that make a two couple, or family getaway comfortable and private!
Relax and enjoy the lake view from the deck after a day at the beach!
Excellent evening star gazing after you enjoy the incredible “Lake Mac” sunset!
There is cellular phone service in the area (Owner uses Verizon which works well). Depending upon your provider, you should be able to use your cell phone from bthe house. We do not provide a land line or cell service other than your personal service. Understandably, we cannot warrant that your provider’s service will work as the area is remote.

Summary: We had a quick stay at the property; only two nights. But we were happy with the accommodations. It was a convenient location for what we wanted to do at the lake. The host was very responsive to questions we had prior to our arrival and we enjoyed our time there. The grill and deck were essential for our enjoyment.

Summary: This property was perfect for a nice quiet getaway. The property owner was very helpful especially since there were severe storms right before our stay. The house was beautiful and the deck was perfect to relax and enjoy the view.

Summary: Overall we were pleased w our stay. Host was very responsive and communicated well. We’ve stayed at places before at lake Mac that were more updated but this place worked well for our family. I’d say this is more of a rustic place and maybe even a hunters cabin feel. Some really cool wildlife mounts on the wall. I’d stay again.

Summary: We had a delightful 4th of July weekend at this charming VRBO in Lewellen, NE. The home was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully situated on Lake Mac. Summary: The house was clean. Plenty of beds. There is no internet which I should have read closer to find out. They normally have dish for TV, but an electrical storm knocked that out. Owner was kind enough to let us know and we brought some dvds for the kids as back up. The house is quite far from water...at least a couple miles walk. There is only one shower, the second bathroom is just a tub. In summer, upstairs is very bright early and stays pretty warm. We appreciated the washer/dryer and dish washer. The deck is really nice for sitting outside in the evening. Overall good stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and quiet! I would point out that there is more than a few steps to the sand because you have to go around a few houses to get there. Also, if the water is low, just be aware that there is no water near the cabin. This is obviously out of the control of anyone but worth noting. This did not affect our stay in any way though, it’s a short drive to other great swim/beach areas. We look forward to a return trip in the future! Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!
