Negative: 1 night there was a the sound of flowing water as if a tap was left on somewhere. It woke me several times and seemed to go on all night.

Positive: Amazing location, very friendly staff and lots of useful places close by (bakery, shopping street, hairdressers) it’s a good stopover hotel.

Negative: Rooms are clean, but grubby. The carpets needed changed, they have seen better days. Rooms are very small.

Negative: The check in time was after 4pm . Our room was not ready even after 4pm so had to wait . The Guy on reception offered us another room which he said was equivalent but was infact an ordinary room at £34 per night cheaper but was not offering any discount saying it was equivalent. The facilities were poor no fridge in the room and no coffee and only two sachets of tea . Lift very slow , sounded like it was about to break down.

Positive: Breakfast was good. The Portugese generally have small breakfast and some coffee, this was way more than that. The buffet was a good start of the day. The location is excellent, shops and bars around the corner and it is close to supermarkets as well.

Summary: Good hotel, close to bars, supermarkets and restaurants. Lovely personnel.
