Summary: I didn’t find this location particularly convenient with not much nearby. A three block walk to a restaurant is not nearby in my opinion. The room was large and an awkward electronic key option is in use. Fixtures that don’t work properly and filth built up in areas of the bathroom is not any different than what I can find in other hotels at a fraction of the price that are better located. Also, the people at the front desk do not communicate with hotels.com so once you book, you are pretty much on your own. I visit Santo Domingo often and this will not be a hotel I will be visiting in the future.
