Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Star Gate in Nuwara Eliya. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The place itself was clean, cosy, and very comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere that was perfect for a getaway. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya and would happily stay here again!

Positive: Great host, always there to help. Very friendly atmosphere more like a hostel with a common lounge area and dining/kitchen facilities available at night. Great breakfast!

Negative: Unfortunately the second floor room (above) with a timber floor creaked with every movement. Bed had a few noisy spring issues.

Summary: Great host in Fazil, nothing was too difficult for him to arrange.

Positive: Faies our host was fantastic. Location up the hill behind the town center easy walk and quite. Food was fantastic, dinner Faies cooked while we watched, we learned a lot. You could have either Sri Lankan or European for breakfast. Great tea and coffee. Our twin room was new clean and tidy a good size with a great ensure. Thanks guys

Negative: Nothing really. The accommodation was new so at checkout they charged us the booking.com commission as well. We tried to explain that we shouldn't pay the commission but in the end because we had such a great stay we just paid.

Positive: My driver showed me this place on opening day and I decided to stay. The location is very good, less than 5 minutes to the center and quiet at night. Everything is clean, new, and in good condition. The hosts were very kind and took good care of me. Since they only expected guests the next day, the WiFi was not installed yet, but they still went out of their way to get a router for me. The breakfast was delicious!
