Positive: Close proximity to Disney

Negative: Not child friendly. Loose electrical wall plugs, lack of fire alarms, no safety glass in half glazed doors. Lots of easy reachable breakable objects which we had to remove for safety. Garden unkempt. Vehicle access very tight, suitable for smaller cars. Would have been good to have been forewarned. Huge safety deposit required.

Negative: The communication on the day of arrival was non-existent. This caused us the most stress. We had 6 children in our party and on day of arrival there was no Internet and no communication was available with host or management company. There was no book for finding out any information about the house or the area. Although there is a bus stop outside there was no information on how to get the bus or buy tickets. We could not find anything which was very stressful. The Internet meant no television or access for the children's i-pads. Previous reviews state the same issues, floors were not clean, limited kitchen equipment, no information about how the kitchen equipment worked or where supermarkets were and the entrance to the property with our cars was a logistical nightmare. Eventually we went straight to Booking.com who were helpful.

Positive: Unfortunately the standing cottage home had a water boiler break so we had to move homes. The home they provided was still in an amazing location and was overall a clean house. I feel perhaps it’s wasn’t up to par with the original home we booked but the property manager refunded as a night so that made up for the quality difference.

Negative: Close to Disney!

Summary: Nice family stay for 9 people(2 families). Adequate space the the property could use a refresh.

Positive: The house is just beautiful. It’s big and comfortable and very nicely furnished.

Negative: There are only two toilets. We, a group of 9 people, did miss a third toilet. The kitchen is under equipped.

Positive: Superb location. Quiet and close to Disneyland Paris. Beautiful interior design, spacious garden space with barbecue equipment. A lot of space for a big company. You can feel authentic French countryside atmosphere and go to Paris or Disneyland from here.

Negative: A little bit dusty, some door handles were damaged, weird smell in the mansard. You need to be really skilled driver to get into the narrow gates. Some basic things like coffee capsules, salt, washing powder, extra toilet paper would be great to find and not to buy for a couple of days staying. The cottage has only two toilets and you need to go downstairs to use it. For such a big house it is not enough. Also the lights in the garden didn’t work, so we bought some candles to be able to have dinner in the garden after Disneyland day.

Positive: The property was a great size for our family group. It is located a short bus ride from Disneyland Paris with the bus stop right outside. The Decor and furniture were stylish and gave the house a lovely feel. Having a coffee machine was great. Plenty of plates, dishes and glassware for our group. This is a pretty house with lots of potential to be fabulous.

Negative: Insects and bugs inside the house. We were all bitten whilst sleeping. A broken handle on the toilet door that had a sharp edge which cut a member of our group. The house appeared clean on arrival but there were corners that were very dusty and with cobwebs. The furniture and decor draw your eye away from the fact the house is in need of repair. Broken shutters, musty smell in the top rooms of the house and dodgy door handles. The electric gate only worked on the way into the property. We left the car parked on the road due to this and the very narrow driveway. I felt the property was over priced for its current state of repair, lack of thorough cleaning and bug extermination.

Positive: Close to Disney but a lovely quiet location. Decor stylish. Large TV , especially loved the sweeping staircase & large dinning table.

Negative: Needed a little TLC: Loose handles etc & outside area. No cot bedding provided. A missing window (too high to reach without ladder) had a plastic bag taped over it - was windy one night and noisy enough to disturb sleep Microwave would be handy.

Positive: Instructions were provided ahead of arrival. The space is huge for 2 families. The decor is very attractive. There is hot water all the time. Decent sized kitchen and very large dining area. Fantastic location with parking on site

Negative: There was a broken window (taped up with a plastic cover), bathroom door lock was broken, the bathrooms themselves are not en-suite, the outddor lights were not working, the main gate didnt respond to the open switch all the time, but very intermittently.

Summary: Very nice house needing some minor work to make it brilliant
