Positive: Stags View is situated on a working farm estate, set away from the other cottages. Our stay was just amazing. Super clean, complete with Christmas tree 🎄. There was enough space for everyone plus two dogs. The hot tub was fabulous and well used for star gazing amid the spectacular scenery. Feeding the animals was a treat with the deer being the highlight. Many walks took place throughout the estate and loved by all. The estate staff were super friendly too. Cannot wait to return.

Positive: 6 adults and a dog. Plenty of space for us to comfortably be together, indoor and out. Only other person we saw was an estate worker checking the hot tub. Lovely guy who shared his knowledge of the estate and the animals around us, he even left us food for the llamas and goats. As a family we loved this lodge and yes we did see Stags!

Positive: This was a great location and lovely house; we all enjoyed the hot tub and enjoyed being visited daily by all the wildlife. It was very peaceful and ideal if you were looking to get away from all the hustle of a busy life, which was exactly what we were looking for.
Negative: The only downside was that both the double beds were uncomfortable, which meant not having the best night's sleep whilst we were away.

Positive: Just incredible. Absolutely sensational. I was lost for words with this one. The location is breathtaking. The cottage terrific. The local area is simply sensational. I can't talk highly enough of this. Blew my mind. Climb the hill behind the house at sunrise. Drag yourself up on your hands and knees if you need it. It's like standing on top of the world.
Negative: I didn't like staying 4 nights. I could have been doing with about 10 more. It was sensational.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Stags view. The views are incredible right away when you reach the house. We were pleasantly surprised that we could see llama and deer right outside! The hot tub was warm and had enough room for the 6 of us. The rooms were all cosy and comfortable. Big TV in the living room and plenty of room in the kitchen for storing food and making meals. I appreciate that the hosts left everything for us so we could just get on with our holiday without intrusion. There was a member of staff who visited every morning to maintain the hot tub but they were super friendly and gave some tips on what was around the estate. Thank you so much for having us. I hope we can return some day!
Negative: The electric cooker was a bit tricky to use. The internet in general was ok but not so good for watching netflix on the tv. The drive up the hill is pretty rocky so maybe some damage from flying rocks. None of this deters from the good time we had though!
