Positive: In a nice quiet location, plenty of space in the main living areas. Was quite cosy in the evenings when the curtains are closed. The double bed was comfy. Milk, biscuits and fruit left by the owners was a nice touch.

Negative: The single bed was quite uncomfortable, could do with a new mattress. Attention to detail with cleaning could be a lot better. The single beds looked like they were made and then someone laid on top of the them after. The main bathroom bath had leaves and bugs in it when we arrived, so we had to clean that before using. The oven was dirty and was hard to figure out how to work, so instructions would have been handy. The sink in the kitchen had a constant drip. The blind in front of the kitchen double doors needs replacing, half the blind slats were missing. Also didn’t realise that door was unlocked until the 2nd night.

Positive: Location and peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful host. Lovely touch with flowers and bowl of fruit.Lots of space in property with a well equipped kitchen. A great base for places like Bath, Avebury, Melksham and Devizes.

Negative: Just few recommendations- Some warm blankets to snuggle with in the evening would be useful. Also some walking maps/books in the property. Lastly, usually salt and pepper is available in most holiday homes.
