Summary: We had originally booked to stay in 2020 but after a couple of tricky years we finally made it in August 2022 and it was worth the wait. We were a family of 7 adults and 2 children (7 & 9). Sebastian was a pleasure to deal with from the very start and had been very accommodating in changing our dates. He was on hand to help with anything during our stay which was reassuring to have. The house itself is beautiful, all the bedrooms have their own unique style and they were immaculately clean on arrival. The covered dining and bbq area is well designed and keeps you cool eating lunch or dinner in the summer. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay and the welcome wine & bread was a lovely touch. The children spent most afternoons in the swimming pool (which is maintained daily by Sebastian) It is a good size and when an overnight storm cooled the pool a little, Sebastian put the heating on for us which we thought was a lovely thing to do. The location is ideal as it is right in the village so it was nice to be able to walk for our bread in the morning and pick up little bits and pieces. There are some lovely restaurants / bars which are in close walking distance too. We would all definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return again soon. :-)

Summary: From start to finish this was a wonderful vacation experience! It all starts with Sebastian, who is the most gracious host we have ever encountered. Our trip was delayed by two years because of Covid and throughout that time Sebastian was always quick to reach out and quick to respond as we worked to reschedule our family vacation. The house was more than we had even hoped for! It was roomy, clean, well equipped and perfectly located for day trips throughout Provence! We would go on excursions every morning and return home in the afternoon to play in the pool , play ping-pong and bocce ball. The bedrooms were well air-conditioned, which had been a concern for me because the July temperatures were going to be above 90° and we had three small children with us. Sleeping was a dream. Sebastian gave us great tips on restaurants and specific sites to see, even including directions. One morning we had asked him about the grocery store hours in town. We needed to purchase milk. He insisted on picking the milk up for us and brought it to our home. This was far beyond expectation and he did everything with a smile. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a vacation in Provence. We hope to return one day ourselves!

Summary: Our stay at Ferme St. Roch was PERFECTION! I actually booked this stay YEARS ago, but Covid threw a wrench in our plans SEVERAL times. Sebastian (home owner) was so gracious and accommodating about postponing our plans until we felt safe visiting. The communication with Sebastian was warm, thorough and always so welcoming. We arrived in Robion on a Saturday and were immediately greeted by our kind host. The property exceeded our expectations in every way! It is impeccably clean, well stocked with linens, towels and all of the comforts of home. Sebastian went above and beyond and even stocked the fridge with a few necessities and a cake for my daughter who turned 19 on our arrival day! There was an issue with the wi-fi related to some construction next door. Sebastian did everything he could to make sure we had access to the internet and even offered his personal office for our use! The home is a perfect base for touring the region and we were able to visit five beautiful villages and even took a day trip to Nice! We ate at all of the local restaurants and found everyone to be kind and tolerant of our terrible French. There are many food shopping options nearby and the neighborhood is very safe. I can't say enough about how spectacular our week in Provence at the house was and will definitely be back! Thank you Sebastian for taking such good care of us! With warmest regards, The Clark Family

Summary: We made our May 2020 reservation for the farmhouse in May 2019 - 28 months ago, but Covid changed all that. We had hoped to celebrate the 60th birthday of several family members there. Sebastian, our host, remained flexible and in regular contact during that whole time. We considered rescheduling our stay to September 2020, then May 2021, but finally settled on Sept 2021 hoping for a vaccine rollout and relatively normal travel conditions by then. While I wouldn’t call travel conditions normal, five out of our original group of eleven were able to make the trip and had a fabulous time. The farmhouse exceeded our expectations - so many lovely rooms and outdoor spaces to gather in, a warm welcome from the host and a trouble-free stay. We particularly enjoyed the pool after being out and about sightseeing on warm days. Because of our small group size everyone was able to have a separate bedroom. Each was special in its own way with unique views and furnishings. Sebastian checked in with us several times, offered suggestions and replenished towels, etc, besides silently stopping in early each morning to maintain the pool. We loved the private sanctuary created by the walled/gated access to the property and garden landscaping and appreciated the small stores for supplies, wines, fresh baked goods, meats and vegetables just a few blocks away - easy to walk to or stop at on the way home. While Robion does not have must see sights in the guidebook lists its convenient location, local flavor, modern main street and easy parking were very much appreciated every time we visited another town, navigated extra narrow roads and spent time circling public parking lots and street parking competing with other day trippers eager to experience Provence. Our group highly recommends this property and its host, Sebastian. We would love to visit again!

Summary: We were 4 couples traveling together to another country with a language barrier....none of us proficient in French.....not even good pretenders. Coming form the states was not only long and tiring but stressful due to this and our inability to know exactly how CDG and the TGV trains operated. We handled this with great aplomb finally.....somehow got off the train (not as quickly as required) but off with ALL luggage. Found our rental autos and then the Farmhouse. Relief ....at last. And what relief it is....wow! Words cannot describe its beauty.....the pictures on web site nice......but seeing and living it.....WOW! Just a tremendous week with friends enjoying Provence and this home when we returned each day......tired ......thirsty and hungry. Local restaurants were a real treat.......Chef Ronald came and entertained with truly great meal prepared and served on site. Beautiful night ....inside and outside enjoyment .....a true 10 experience . And last but not least .....the best of the best....the commander in chief....SEBASTIAN.......who handled everything efficiently and effectively all week. A man who knows how to greet and treat his guests. Would recommend this Villa to all.....you will not be disappointed. We thank you Sebastian for a truly amazing and relaxing experience . Bob

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Ferme-St-Roch. I chose the property based on the bedroom / bath situation of the property and the outdoor dining facility. Little did I know how exceptional it would turn out to be. The secret weapon is the owner, Sebastian Jary. He could have not been more wonderful, making sure to suggest restaurants (and book them for us), on the spot (within minutes) when we encountered one small problem and generally just very attentive to make sure all went well with our visit. I also wasn't quite aware of how centrally located this property is situated for sightseeing. It seems all we wished to see in the area was an easy drive. ( A car does seem necessary for this property though - parking is available on property.) The kitchen is well-equipped even for seasoned chefs. Bicycles, games, a library and a full sized pool complete the experience. We were charmed to learn that this house was actually part of a monastery - love the history angle. Highly recommend!

Summary: Where do I start? The farmhouse St Roch is the most perfect spot for a family holiday. We were three generations; 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 3 grandchildren. We stayed in the last week of May. St Roch is in the middle of Robion, close to the amenities, but you would not know you were in the middle of town. The buildings, gardens and pool are superb, they far exceeded our expectations. Lots of sitting areas both in and out of the sun. Anyone who has been on a family holiday knows the importance of even a short time away from the crowd. Prior to our arrival Sebastian had helped me organise a special day for my wife's birthday on the Monday. A wine tasting and a vineyard tour at Domaine de Marie followed by lunch at Bistro le 5. We were so looking forward to visiting these places that had been recommended to us. Unfortunately I am writing this from my hospital bed. I tripped, fell and broke my hip on Sunday evening. So Monday was spent at A&E with the hip replacement scheduled for later in the week. Sebastian was magnificent, guiding us through the French hospital system and staying with us at the hospital for translation duties. Although I wanted them to continue with the day, the family decided that we had to cancel. Once again Sebastian came up trumps and sorted this out for us. We all think that Sebastian has gone far beyond any duty of care for us. Thank you once again Sebastian. With the aid of modern technology (photographs) I was able to follow the progress of the family during the rest of our stay. Once I have fully recovered we will return. We have a wine tasting and a special meal to look forward to. Erik Smart

Summary: Thank you, Sebastian! We are a group of 8 adults (4 couples) and visited this special property in April 2019 for 7 nights. The house accommodated us perfectly! We loved being based in the village of Robion, because it really doesn't feel "touristy". All the necessities (bakery, butcher, fruit & wine store) were within minutes walk from the chateau. But when the gate closes, we all felt we were isolated in our own private world. The chateau is beautifully outfitted and maintained. And Sebastian felt more like a personal host than "landlord". When one of our group became sick, he arranged an appointment for her with a local doctor and even escorted us there. We HIGHLY recommend this wonderful property. Thank you, Sebastian, for a marvelous experience!

Summary: We had a delightful two weeks at La Ferme St Roch at the end of September. The property is lovely, well equipped and well maintained, with spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms, an excellent kitchen and a beautiful swimming pool. It’s totally private, but once you walk through the gate it’s a convenient, very short walk into town to the bakery and markets. Robion is an ideal location, situated at the foot of the Luberon mountain range and very close to Gordes, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Isle sur Sorgue, St. Rémy and other well-known Provence spots. It’s very easily accessible from either Avignon or Aix en Provence. We usually spent a few hours each day exploring the area and having lunch in one of the nearby towns, then made sure to return by mid-afternoon in time to swim and relax by the pool. One day we took a hike into the Luberon just behind Robion’s old town. We had family and friends with us part of the time, and sometimes it was just the two of us. It couldn’t have been any better. To top it all off, Sebastian was a perfect host. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with the entire experience. Merci mille fois!

Summary: We have just returned home after a one week stay in Ferme St Roche. Our family group comprised three generations, the youngest a baby of 7 months. I can honestly say that the house worked perfectly for us and we had a wonderful time. Many large holiday rental houses are situated in the country so you need to drive even to buy bread. Not so Ferme St Roche. The house feels quiet and secluded but is only minutes walk to shops, restaurants and Tourist Information if you need it. The outside spaces were particularly appreciated by us. They were well thought out with seating on the terrace for pre dinner drinks, a large table where we ate most evenings and ample pool sun beds. Table tennis and the pool table came in for a lot of use by the more energetic family members and the clean, heated swimming pool had most of us swimming everyday. Last week in Provence was very warm and sunny and when we arrived the fair was in Robion. In addition to the usual rides there was music, dancing and performances which made it feel like a true village event. Finally a word or two of praise for Sebastian who manages the house. He arranged for a cot, high chair and changing table to be in place on our arrival so the baby's needs were well taken care of. He was endlessly helpful and arrived within minutes when we had a small problem so many thanks to him also for the advice and treats which helped to make our holiday so memorable. Christine
