Positive: The staff are truly super. The room we had was absolutely delightful: large, beautifully decorated and furnished; beds are really comfy and truly ample in size. Tea / coffee, a range of toiletries, in addition to the obligatory wall-mounted TV, make for a truly pleasant environment. A decent selection of food in the restaurant / bar is well presented and, again, the service is excellent. We were particularly impressed by the cheery attitude of the staff, who gave the place an air of welcome and did their utmost to cater for guest's needs. Off-road parking is adequate and access, out of hours, is simple. The location really could not be better as it is peaceful, but just a short stroll to the lovely old town centre and amazing castle.

Negative: We couldn't stay longer!

Positive: Great location for access to town, cathedral and castle. Parking was easy to find and right next to the room. We had 3 person in one room which may have been a bit tight but for one night it was completely fine.

Negative: Strange light configurations, couldn't work out how to turn lamps on and room was quite dark overall. Voile curtain kept falling off window and main curtains so long I had to be careful I didn't trip on them when walking round the bed. Had to pull chest of drawers out the way to get to the plug socket for hair dryer. Maybe get rid of the chest of drawers and put a dressing table there. Bathroom a little cramped. These things didn't spoil our stay at all though 🙂

Summary: Comfortable,clean room. Added bonus of location to town. We ate in the pub one night which was lovel

Positive: The hotel was beautiful, rooms was clean and comfortable. Was very impressed with the large bath towels! The only thing I would suggest, is maybe a mirror being more closer to a plug socket Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the meals were lovely. The continental breakfast had a good selection and definitely recommend the cooked breakfast on the weekends Hotel was perfectly located for the Arundel cathedral, St Nicholas church and Arundel castle. Also not far away in the car to Petworth House and Gardens We would definitely stay again

Positive: We fell in love with the whole area and having the cathedral next to the inn was a sight to be seen. The room we stayed in had wonderful views of the sloping hills and cathedral. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate as was the whole room. Tea making facilities and tv was nice to have. The inn was very welcoming, the food was cooked to perfection and particularly liked the deserts, especially the rum and raisin ice-cream. The staff were always happy to help and always smiled when they greet you and help you with anything you need. We thought all of the staff were lovely.

Negative: We didn't like having to leave.
