Positive: Super pretty building, with nice modernisation inside that's fairly recent and in good condition. Eleanor, one of the bar/restaurant staff was so professional, helpful and went above and beyond multiple ties; helping us with finding electric car charging points when we were clearly disappointed that the on-site ones were out of order, offering extra treats to help our dog feel very welcome and just generally doing a great job of hospitality.

Negative: It was a shame that the on-site car chargers were out of order (seemingly permanently) and there were external air conditioning units that were noisy overnight with us having the windows open to get fresh air into the room.

Summary: Pleasant stay, made extra nice by star staff

Positive: Clean, spacious room, light airy bathroom. Nice restaurant.

Negative: The noise. A compressor starting and stopping right through the night, made sleeping almost impossible!! Not sure if it affects all rooms but wouldn’t stay there again because of that.

Positive: The bedroom was a good size and very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly. The food was lovely, fresh, and presented nicely.

Negative: The outside needed a good clean and tidy up,no flowers just weeds!! The hotel could do with a good clean around, lots of cobwebs. Poor that only serves food till 4 pm on the Sunday and bar closed at 7.30pm.

Negative: no grab rails in shower, no hairdryer in room, no reception for hotel. had to speak to bar staff or kitchen staff. had to be back before 9pm for lift to be available.
