Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful St. John's cottage and would happily return again in the future. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was absolutely spotless and incredibly well maintained. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome amenities, including a bottle of wine and delicious chocolates/cake. It was clear that the hosts had thought about every detail — nothing was missing in the apartment, and everything we needed was available. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout our stay: friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. The location was also perfect. Within a short walk, there is a supermarket, bakery, and butcher, which was extremely convenient. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Peak District. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the lovely garden and outdoor space. Overall, a fantastic stay that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway.

Positive: Literally everything! An incredible place, owned by the most wonderful people. Came for the Penistone Silent Film Festival [which was also incredible].

Positive: This is a lovely cottage, well equipped and at a great location. We spent a week there with our 2 young daughters and had an amazing time, going for walks around Peak District and exploring the area. The cottage is very well maintained, spotless clean and comfortable. The hosts have a great taste and are very attentive to details that make a difference and create a very cozy space. We were received with a chocolate cake and wine, and the host provided several great tips to explore in the area. Definitely recommend trying The Waggon & Horses for a great meal, Cannon Hall Farm for a nice day out with the kids, and a milkshare from Milk from the Hill's shed. Overall, it was an amazing stay, very recommended, and we will definitely be back!
