Positive: The property is located just a short walk from the Sligo city center, but guests need to understand that the return walk is up a steep hill. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the hosts provided a nice selection of breakfast foods for our first morning. The hosts were extremely quick to respond when we had an issue with the water heater, which was quickly resolved.
Negative: There was a construction project going on at the property across the street, so we awoke most mornings to the sound of heavy equipment, trash being thrown into a dumpster, or workers yelling to each other. Inside the unit, the shower was very small (but fully functional). There is a shelf under the TV set that sticks out just enough that I managed to bang my head on it twice. The mattress was a little softer than we like.
