Positive: The property is very well situated in Cranbrook where we were visiting family. The parking is excellent. We walked through some back lanes of Cranbrook that we didn't know before. Interestingly the range of books that were available were excellent - the Hockney was very good , the book of local walks very useful. We did a day trip to Rye and Rye Harbour, the nature reserve was especially good with lots of birds there in November

Negative: Slight issue with bedroom window next to neighbours front door. Unless blind was fully down there was no privacy. Glazed or frosted windows to add some discretion? Or a net? Small point but worth saying I think.

Positive: Breakfast was not included but tea, coffee, milk, eggs. bread and butter were all provided ready for our arrival - a very thoughtful touch. The apartment felt immediately welcoming was very roomy, spotless, furnished very comfortably and decorated tastefully. Everything needed was available and could not be faulted. Jules our host welcomed us by text and made sure all was okay. Would stay again any time.

Negative: The proximity to the road. One has to get used to the nearness of the road, both for walking and noise.
