Summary: Very clean and Newly remodeled Room. Close to the main shopping street and very walkable to restaurants and a fantastic view of the river. We would definitely stay again. Parking was excellent. There was coffee in the room but at 7:30am on Sunday with breakfast not starting until 8, there was no sign of coffee or breakfast in the lobby so we left in the morning without breakfast and extra coffee for the road. We also had to call the number at the front desk to get checked in, which took longer than I expected it would.

Summary: The hotel is in an historic district, and it is easy to access. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. For the price, it is well worth it.

Summary: TV didn't work. Barking dog and wild kids heard for hours on end. No maid service between days. Smelly old carpet. Good location though

Summary: The staff was rude and no one was there to check us in, the hotel was basically deserted. He came after 20 mins of us waiting while we thought no one would come and were looking for alternative hotel options. The room was old and the AC is super loud. For over $300 a night, this hotel needs to be updated.

Summary: The breakfast area was still dirty from the day before, and I had to ask the manager to have it cleaned. Unfortunately, the next morning was the same situation. We ended up going out for breakfast down the street, which cost us an extra $60. The laundry area was also neglected, with about a quarter inch of dust on the washer and dryer. For the price of this hotel, I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Summary: Manager, Zach, was helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure that the members of my party (in town for a wedding) were well accommodated and happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Room temperature was good. There was plenty of parking in the open parking lot. The neighborhood & park across the street were a bit run down but this is a charming, walkable (but hilly) & quirky old city. The St Charles Hotel fit right in. I’d absolutely stay there again.
