Positive: It was close to my venue and clean.

Negative: I have stayed here at this hotel several times in the past however this time I was charged to $250 deposit just because I have a local address. When I asked them why they're doing this and they said because locals tend to damage rooms more than the other guest. That remark put me on a defense and when I went to my actual room the luggage rack was broken. Had to check the rest of the room for damage to make sure I would get my $250 back I took pictures down of the luggage rack to the lady at the front desk and she said she documented it but I feel like this is a not a good way to treat local people that are using your establishment for any kind of reason. This new policy was not listed when I booked the accommodation if it had been listed I would have to pay a $250 deposit just because I am a local then I would have booked elsewhere.

Positive: The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Negative: The staff was not friendly and seemed inconvenienced having to help us and check us in. There were three women talking when I approached and they seemed annoyed that they had to end their conversation to work. The pool looked a lot nicer and cleaner online.

Positive: Needs a remodel, badly. The whole place seems run down. I always stay at Springhills, and this was the worst one. The staff was awesome and soo nice!
