Positive: Rooms were spacious, clean, and accomodating.

Negative: The facility is right next to a busy railway that runs day and night. The noise and window rattling isnt for those who have trouble sleeping. Housekeeping has to be asked to freshen room each day if you want fresh towels, coffee, etc.

Positive: The SpringHill location was a little bit tucked in the back off the main road. At first we passed it. Yet we found it in the pouring rain. The lady at the front desk did everything she could to get our reservation to come up from booking. com. Dell was a sweetheart with impeccable care and concern for our reservation. She did everything she could while still handling everything at the front desk as other guests came in for the night stay. Dell even called the GM who was off sight to help.

Negative: I booked the night's Stay through the Trivago website. Booking.com gave me a reservation number before we got to the hotel. (I had booked it about 15 to 20 minutes before we arrived.) However the SpringHill did not have our reservation number. It was a long drawn out hour or so making phone calls and such. We were happy when we finally got to our room to unwind from a day of traveling.

Summary: It was a comfortable and good night sleep at the hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast too.

Positive: Check-in was smooth and front desk associate was fantastic, very charismatic. The room was clean and stocked well. The breakfast was pretty good.

Negative: The mattress was a bit firm for my liking and the pull out bed on the couch was awful, you could feel every spring and that was with a small 90lb child laying on it, so we had to sleep on the couch cushions instead to be more comfortable.

Negative: I was not impressed by the breakfast. I was informed that breakfast ended at 10:00 am on Saturday, and I came downstairs at 9:30 am, and the lady had everything packed up. I was a little disappointed that I even asked if breakfast was over. I felt it was a rush to clean everything up way before breakfast is over. I have stayed at previous properties before and you never see that. They wait until 10 am or 9 am to start shutting things down, especially when there was still food. In addition, check out is at noon, and at 9 am, housekeeping was knocking at my door. I had to inform that I was still in the room. Then she came back 1 hour and 1/2 later trying to come in, but I had the latch on, so she realized someone was still inside. I was disturbed by this so I just checked out way before my scheduled check out time. I know that housekeeping receives a roster to know who has checked out. Needless to say, my stay was what it was, 2 nights, but they need to work on the rushing of things because this is not Marriott standard.

Positive: The location was right for me, as I was ready to stop for the night. Found a nice restaurant with a full-service bar about a mile east of the hotel, the only other choices I could find at night were fast-food. Look for the entry sign, the hotel is set back a piece from the highway.

Negative: I was warned about train tracks behind the hotel, but I didn't mind the racket. That rail has some real fast-movers on it... about a mile long too. So be advised. It was not a dis-like for me...
