Positive: Everything was perfect family home! Location, rooms, facilities, clean! Lots of space for everyone one, we were not on top of each other. Rooms upstairs were amazing:) the host was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again!

Positive: The location and view were great. Loved the open planed living area and the pool!! We enjoyed the sauna to. It also has easy beach access. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Negative: That the house doesn't have backup power, and when it's load shedding the water doesn't work... There aren't aircons in the bedrooms, only fans, it helps but is still extremely hot!! There is no fan or aircon in the living area... the pool table, ping pong table and dart board have seen better days..

Positive: The house is spacious and beautiful. It is well equipped. Ozzie and Nonku are superstars that make your stay so comfortable. Pool table, Table tennis, Infinity swimming pool, sauna, and a large garden for cricket made sure the kids were always entertained. A walkway to the beach.. just a pity the ocean was brown and choppy because of the weather.
Negative: The ensuite to the upstairs bedrooms are open plan. Some would like... I didn't. The house has 4 bedrooms inside and the other 3 are annexed to the house. The upstairs shower had a leak that dripped directly onto the kitchen counter.

Positive: Everything 👌it was spacious, stunning, well equipped. loved the pool and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful staff👏🏻. it was so close to the beach especially for fishing. secure and private home. very impressive!
Negative: the plumbing/leaks need to be sorted and the shower pressure . nothing major but just a suggestion. Otherwise everything else is exceptional.
Summary: A very enjoyable memorable weekend. we all loved our stay at splash rock. looking forward to another trip soon.

Positive: We loved the location and facilities. The sauna and jacuzzi were such a treat during winter and the beach in front of the property was safe, clean and beautiful. The gardens are also well kept and so serene. This was the perfect location for our annual family getaway.
Negative: We were really unhappy during our stay due to the loadshedding (no electricity during certain hours of the day) and no water for most of the day on Saturday. There were 16 of us on this getaway and it was very difficult without electricity for most of the day on Friday and Saturday and no water for the majority of the day on Saturday. This meant that we didn’t have water for showers, toilets and cooking etc. If we were informed about the water and electricity problem before arrival, we could have prepared better or even made alternative arrangements as we had quite a few elderly people with us. We felt that it was really unacceptable to be left without water and electricity for most of our stay without prior notice. While we understand that the these problems are a result of service providers, when we contacted the host they were very unpleasant and basically said that we can leave the property if we were unhappy with the situation. We paid a lot of money for the accommodation and put a lot of effort into planning this annual family getaway so we were really disappointed with this response.
Summary: Beautiful house but the lack of water and electricity ruined our experience.
