Positive: Spice on Broadway is a good hotel in a very convenient location, close to both the train and metro stations. We were especially grateful for the early check-in, which made our arrival much easier. The room was well equipped, with a good shower and a fully functional kitchen. We appreciated the many complimentary items, including water, toiletries, and access to a washing machine with detergent, which was very useful during our stay. The view over the city was also a nice bonus. The bed was softer than our preference, though this comes down to personal taste. Overall, a comfortable stay with great amenities and location, but housekeeping could be better.

Negative: The main area that could be improved is the cleaning, which did not fully meet expectations.

Negative: Quite noisy on the road and couldn't find the switch to turn off the light in the room in the kitchen area. The fan in the bathroom was quite noisy.

Positive: The location is excellent - we walked the short distance from Central Station. A stroll after dinner felt safe in the surrounding streets, and there are good eating options nearby - especially the amazing Spice Alley right at the door. The room was sharp and had excellent facilities, and being double glazed was quiet enough even though our room faced Broadway.

Negative: The washing machine was a nice bonus, but it's complex and we never mastered the drying function - maybe a simplified instruction sheet would be good ;-)

Summary: An excellent overnight stay for us before departing after a 5-day walking holiday.

Positive: Location was great, very quiet considering it was so close to Central but no train noise, plus hardly any bar or restaurant noise from spice street. Not sure what a weekend night would be like. Bed comfy, free snacks and wine, little kit in the bathroom. Great find for trips to Sydney.

Positive: Really enjoyed our long weekend stay in a great spot. Small hotel that delivered on comfort and atmosphere. The place feels fresh and relaxed and I have to say all the staff were so obliging and wanted to welcome us.

Positive: Great stay with very courteous staff who were lovely to deal with. They went out of their way to be polite and offer suggestions on where to eat and how to get around. Loved the atmosphere right in the city .Heaps to do and see around this location in walking distance
