Positive: Our host, Marco, picked us up at the car rental and led us to the cottage, with a stop at the supermarket first. Spice Cottage is a quiet, slightly rustic, Caribbean cottage. It was perfect for our family.

Positive: The cottage is a gem. It’s very comfy, spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The nearby beach is wonderful and quiet and great for relaxation. Driving around the island I was glad to have chosen the cottage. Communication was very easy and helpful. I would come back and highly recommend the cottages.

Positive: I had a wonderful week long stay in the Spice cottage. The amenities were great - full sized fridge with freezer, 4 burner gas stove with oven, all cookware and utensils needed, towels and showering toiletries provided, housekeeping once in the week, and the A/C worked well on the main floor. The host told me there was laundry service as well, but I didn't use it. The wifi worked great and was high speed and capable for streaming and FaceTime. Galley Bay beach was a 4 minute walk down the hill. Perry Bay supermarket was a 15-20 minute drive away, and downtown St. Johns and the local market was just past that. There was also a lovely little restaurant in Five Islands Village within walking distance.

Negative: The only thing I would have added is a couple of foldable/portable chairs to bring to the beach!

Positive: Loved the location on the wooded area. Short walk to the beach, which was beautiful and very secluded.

Negative: Some small household items needed repair: couple door knobs, screen door.

Positive: Perfect location with 5 min walk from a beautiful beach, nice atmosfere of the little cottages. The cottage has a nice terrase and is well equipt inside, spacy enough, the bed has a good mosquitiere which is much needed in the evenings. The touch of time is starting to be visible but the cottage is super clean and we enjoyed our stay a lot and appreciate the warm welcome and help from Marco!

Negative: the AC is quite old and loud and the bathroom would profit from a little renovation :)
