This modern home, all on one floor, is spacious, quiet and luxuriously furnished. It sits just at the edge of the village on 9 acres with paths through the forest, a tree swing and multiple streams, yet is only a ten minute walk to town. It has an ideal master suite with luxurious bath and shower. The bedroom opens to the giant back patio with gorgeous views of the pond and row after row of mountains beyond. Its terrific chef's kitchen includes every amenity. The living room seats family and guests before a grand stone fireplace and its beautifully appointed window seats are perfect for curling up with a good book or watching the sunset. The formal dining room opens onto the back flagstone patio where an additional table seats 8 with an extra remote controlled awning to keep it cool on warm afternoons. A built in gas grill is there for your use. The home also includes an office, a family room and another sitting room just off the kitchen. Two additional luxurious bedrooms are set off in a separate suite with a beautiful shared bathroom with a shower. The sofa in the family room folds out as well so the house sleeps eight comfortably.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Woodstock. The house was beautiful and what a location! I almost wished we didn’t have so many wedding activities for our 2 night stay as we would have loved to sit and enjoy the view more than we were able to! Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

Summary: We toured New England with two other couples in October 2019. This home in Woodstock exceeded our expectations. Lots of room. Tastefully appointed. If it was not 3,000 miles away I would be planning a return trip.

Summary: We had the best time in Woodstock and can’t wait to return. The rental property was beautiful, just as explained, and extremely relaxing. My only regret is we missed the peonies by about a week!

Summary: We loved this property. The home is gorgeous and the location and vistas are incredible. The home is very well equipped and then some. The owner provides very complete instructions for your stay. The location is convenient and close to town center. Would like to visit again.

Summary: The setting is beautiful on several acers with a clear view of the hills above Woodstock. Very quiet yet just about 1/4 mile to the town green. Saw deer on several occasions on the lot. The house is well maintained and equipped. The floor plan is very nice with lots of common room and two wings for bedrooms making it idea for 2 couples or children. Certainly one of the nicest locations for rent in the Woodstock/Quechee area. You can drive to anywhere in Vermont within 2 hours.

Summary: Words can't express how perfect this house was for our group. The property is within walking distance of downtown Woodstock but feels like a true retreat. The house is well stocked, beautiful, comfortable and has the best views of the leaves changing color in the Fall. Can't recommend this place enough!

Summary: This is an absolutely beautiful property. Very nicely decorated, great outdoor space with incredible views, spacious kitchen with large island. The entire home is well appointed and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay there. Exceeded our expectations.

Summary: The home we rented was beautiful, clean and very inviting. The owners left great instructions on how everything worked. Bedrooms were clean and neat. They left firewood and we made 2 fires outside. My only complaint is that we were 4 ladies and ever time we went to get ready for bed or to go out , we had no water. We had to wate for just about an hour for the water to come on again.. surely this is a temporary problem! Still I would give the experience 5 stars and would not hesitate to book this home again.

Summary: We really, really enjoyed our recent three day weekend at this property. Its nestled on the side of a hill with beautiful panoramic mountain views. Landscaping throughout the property is exquisite, with a pond and several places to relax and soak up the surroundings. Bedrooms were well appointed and the kitchen and sitting areas were extremely comfortable. We had 6 adults and a toddler and thought it was plenty of room. Would definitely book again.
