Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, we booked the home and 3 cottages for a bridal party. People who did not know each other came from all over the country. I requested to see the inside of the home at the owners convenience and I was mot permitted to do so. I needed to make sleeping arrangements so I based the arrangements on the home being 3 bedrooms since I couldn’t see it. I took you at your word. Once in the home, we realized that there were two bedrooms and one nook that was completely open (without a door) to one of the two bedrooms. I don’t know where the third bedroom is but there was a room with a pullout couch, TV, and balcony. It has No DOOR and it is completely open to others in the home. I asked for a curtain and the request was completely ignored. We purchased a rod a curtain so that one of the families would have a bit of privacy. Even with the curtain we purchased, it was not private and they chose not to stay. Additionally, there is a serious exhaust issue in the home. I have pictures of the vents that were filled with pollution and dust in the room described above and the kitchen area. It’s REALLY badβ€”especially if you hebrew allergies as one of our guests did. We did our best to clean it but it looks like a build up that has occurred over several years without being cleaned. We should definitely be refunded a portion of our payment because we could not utilize the property as it was advertised as we had to clean it.

It was a beautiful, picture perfect location for our beach wedding. We set up a 30’x45’ frame tent in the backyard and it fit perfectly. My only complaints are that the housekeeping and maintenance of the rooms needs improvement. One of the beach hugger suites AC didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it until the next morning, and my sheets were not changed before our arrival because they were sandy and hairy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we loved our stay at the Sunset Beach House. Being right on the beach was so lovely and such a nice place to spend time. The backyard was amazing and the location was perfect. In general the house and the cottages were very nice although for the price that we paid for our stay I would have expected some additional amenities. Every cottage and the whole house ran out of toilet paper during our stay. There was no laundry soap or dish soap available for us to use. There were definitely not enough towels or blankets for all our guests to use. The upstairs bed in the top room was very uncomfortable to sleep in. It was extremely hard. There were no beach towels for us to use. There was also trash in the backyard when we got there from the previous guests. I would have expected enough toliet paper, towels, and blankets for all the guests for the full 4 night stay. I would have also expected there were dish soap, laundry soap and beach towels available for us since it is a rental house not a hotel room. I would have thought that the pieces of trash should have been cleaned up in the backyard as well. There was an internet employee that came by the house to fix something but we had no idea what he was supposed to be fixing and he did not know either. We also had issues with the backyard door as well. The view and location was amazing but this house is not cheap to rent so for the money we are paying I expected better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location were the perfect place for our wedding. Most everything was very accommodating for all of us but there are a few things I believe should be addressed. We were disappointed by the grill not working and no one fixed them while we were there. Also only half of the electrical outlets in the kitchen were working and the trash outside was completely full. Another thing we did not appreciate was that check out time was 10am and the cleaning people were there at 9am just waiting for us to leave.

Reviewer Comments: I'm conflicted, the location is beautiful, the house is cool, and the backyard was perfect for our wedding. However when checking in there were dying roaches in 2/3 of the beach huggers - a lot of them I have pictures. The wifi didn't start working until our last full day, meaning no internet or TV. The second floor shower in the main house never worked, totally broken. And when we paid extra for the sand to be raked, they came and raked but the spikey seeds were still all over the yard. For ever problem I had the service team responded fast and politely, but it was frustrating and embarrassing (the bugs) to have to deal with it all in front of my family and guests during my wedding weekend.

It was large enough in the back yard to accommodate our 115 guests comfortable plus all of the vendors! It was a dream wedding at the perfect location and very private (unlike other beach weddings that take place at large hotels on the beach) We had our entire bridal party stay at the house with us all weekend and they amenities were pretty good, only thing I would suggest is new beds they were not very comfortable at all. Property is well kept, plenty of up lighting (we did *** on the bistro lights for our wedding) and seating. Would highly recommend for a wedding venue!!

I like the apartments set up. The bedsheets need washing the muddy smells from the moisture. The house looks big outside but the rooms are small. I like the backyard nice and big. The grills are great for cook out. Flo cleaning company she is very nice and accommodating .
