This spectacular 9300 square foot oceanfront home is located at 140 Flyway Drive, the most sought after street on the island. The home offers 4 levels of indoor and outdoor living space, 7 bedrooms with private kitchen bathrooms, and it's own private boardwalk to the beach.
As you enter the home's unique circular entry foyer, head downstairs to the first level complete with a pool table, tv, wet bar and powder room. This level also boasts four large bedrooms and four in suite-bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms offer king beds, and there is a bunk room with four bunks as well as an additional bedroom with 3 twin beds. A 2nd laundry room is on this level. Head outside from this level to access the covered patio and pool terrace.
Upstairs, as you enter the spacious 28 foot high great room, framed by columns, your eyes are immediately drawn to the expansive ocean vistas. This is the main living area and it acts as a wonderful entertaining/gathering space, with floor-to-ceiling/wall-to-wall windows topped with transoms, allowing an abundance of natural light and stunning ocean views. The large open kitchen features custom cabinetry with granite countertops and backsplash and a center island/breakfast bar - open to the great room and dining room with a pass through to kitchen. This floor offers access to a full rear porch, the perfect place for entertaining or simply sitting back and enjoying cool ocean breezes. Two sets of stairs take you down to the pool terrace and beach access.
The master suite is located on this level and features a second stone fireplace, loft/sitting area, His and Her huge state of the art bathrooms and walk-in closets/dressing rooms as well as access to a private sunning deck. A laundry/utility room/pantry, and powder room complete this level.
The third level of the home is comprised of an additional master suite with a king bed, sitting room and private bathroom with a large two person sink and spa shower. Outside of the suite is a hallway featuring a Juliette balcony overlooking the great room and access to the fourth level.
The fourth level of the home is made up of a private bedroom retreat with a king bed, full bath with spa shower and private balcony with stunning vistas. The home is exquisitely furnished, and includes hardwood flooring, custom wide baseboards and crown molding throughout.
Our home has a two car garage and parking for four additional vehicles in the driveway. In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance and with our Guest License Agreement, all guests agree that the maximum number of vehicles allowed for overnight parking is 6 approved number of bedrooms is 7, and the maximum allowed occupancy is 16.
Kiawah Island offers 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world class golf courses, tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming and boating. Be sure to check out the programs at Night Heron Park and Nature Center.

Summary: This is magnificent home on the best street in Kiawah! The rooms are huge, giving everyone the chance to find a quiet spot while enabling all the family activity you can imagine. We had 8 adults and three little ones with plenty of room to spare. I could envision coming back with five couples, as there are five full bedroom/bath suites. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool was perfect for the adults and kids alike. All that and having the beach essentially in the backyard made for a wonderful vacation for all three generations of our family!

Summary: Where to start, this place checked every box for our family celebration. The house was perfect with our adult children and their children ages 3 to 17. Literally 4 master suits and plenty of room for the Littles. Golf, pool, beach and family time together in this beautiful space. Our host was very accommodating and quick to reply to our needs.

Summary: The house is in a perfect location with a short boardwalk to the beach and large pool. The view from the house is amazing. The house is large with lots of bedrooms and areas for everyone to hang out. It is great for multiple families. Lastly, the property owner was very responsive, accommodating, and super nice to work with. We would go back!!

Summary: This home was a perfect getaway for our 3 generation family to celebrate my husbands 65th birthday. The home is stunning, highlighted by its living room with huge floor to ceiling windows that showcase the gorgeous beach and ocean views...breathtaking! The large king bedrooms, the kids bunk room and the baby room were all inviting and cozy esp after a full day of activities, of which Kiawah has more than we could possibly get to. A wonderful home and a wonderful spot!!!

Summary: We spent a long weekend celebrating my birthday with family. The home easily accommodated our group of 13 . The home is beyond spectacular with breathtaking views of the ocean which you can also see from the upstairs shower. The common space was huge with something like 40 foot ceiling. It was easy to cook for our group and everyone was thrilled with the house. Our property manager attended to all our needs and we had no problems with anything. It was wonderful and we hope to go back!

Summary: Beautiful ocean front home and property on the most spectacular beach BUT was surprised to find that a VRBO of this caliber (4k per night)would come with a total of 10 garbage bags, large amount of missing lightbulbs throughout hime, a rationing of 3 towels per guest room, fireplaces unable to be used, disconnected elevator for 4 floors, and holiday inn sized soap.

Summary: We have been coming to Kiawah for 20+ years. What a treat to be able to stay in this home. It sits right on the beach with it's own boardwalk, most house of this quality and size are not available to rent. You can tell this is a family home that has been well loved. and boy is this beauty is well built!!! We road out a tropical storm and the house barely budged!! This is the most prestigious street on Kiawah and the property owners are easy to work with. We will definitely be renting this house again!!
