THE VENUE AT MILLS RIVER IS PRIMARILY A WEDDING VENUE AND AS SUCH WE DO NOT ALLOW PRIVATE WEDDING FUNCTIONS
This home is perfect for vacationers with large families, gatherings for friends and family reunions, luxurious couple's retreats, and people looking to explore the mountains and retreat to an idyllic countryside.
Advertised price is for occupancy of 16. The house will sleep 27 at an additional cost of $50/person/night.
You will find many accommodations at this rental, including 8 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half-bathrooms, 2 fully stocked and spacious kitchens, a large and cozy living area, as well as outdoor patio living space and screened-in dining room patio. Beyond the boundaries of the farmhouse you will find a quaint pond, a fire pit overlooking the pond, and sprawling fields for outdoor activities or to simply enjoy the view.

Summary: More than enough room for our party of 13 adults. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, and relaxing on the patio around the fire. We appreciated the laundry facilities, and there are plenty of bathrooms, as well, parking. The home was conveniently located.

Summary: The property and house were absolutely beautiful, clean and well appointed. It was convenient to multiple outings for hiking shopping and sightseeing. The extensive grounds were just what young children needed for running out energy and having fun. The home had multiple rooms together and socialize. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Even though we had a large group, we had plenty of room to spread out and have privacy as needed. Thank you for this opportunity to thoroughly enjoy my family!

Summary: Peaceful house and beautiful property, perfect for our family reunion of 18, ages 1-68. Kids loved fishing and canoeing on the pond, lots of outdoor space for lawn games, and great hang out areas on screened porch and back patio. Plenty of room for everyone to have comfortable sleeping arrangements. We hope to come back again!

Summary: The home is beautiful, luxurious and tranquil on 25 acres. We were a family of eleven on vacation, but the property is ideal for weddings and other gatherings. The kitchen is well-equipped and conducive to making family dinners. We ate those on the patio and staggered breakfasts on the enclosed porch. With bedrooms and baths on three floors, all had privacy. There's a pond a short distance from the house, fun for fishing. Set in Mills River, we were close to activities in Hendersonville, Brevard, and Asheville.

Summary: This beautiful estate was the perfect location for our micro wedding weekend. The home easily accommodated our party of 17. The two kitchens and numerous bathrooms made everything a breeze. My only suggestion to the host is to take some WD40 to all of the doors, lol. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to host an event with family and friends - weekend reunion, getaway vacation, etc - it was perfect!

Summary: We had about 6 families staying in the house and it was large enough for us all to have bedrooms and bathrooms and many communal areas that it never felt cramped! We enjoyed all the outside space as well you really didn’t have to leave the house but was also a very short drive to do anything else! BEAUTIFUL house that was very peaceful! Our family really enjoyed played hide and seek in the large house!

Summary: My family of 15 LOVED staying at this amazing home in Mills River. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous & had everything we needed, while the property was incredible - beautiful views. We loved the location - it wasn't too hard to drive to downtown Asheville & it was VERY close to the airport so we could pick up members of our family who flew in. There are MANY breweries all within a mile or 2 of the property - Mills River Brewing (great food & drink), Bold Rock, Appalachian Mountain Brewing, etc.! Also very close to a grocery store and liquor store! We were so impressed with our stay here & we hope we will be able to come back & visit soon!

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Mills River ! The house was beautiful plenty of space for our large group. The pond that kids could swim in was surprise bonus. Location is perfect close enough to Asheville but just far enough outside city to enjoy the country air and peacefulness. Would definitely return !
