Positive: Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great location - only a 10 minute walk into the centre of historic Bruges. Excellent communication with the owner before and during our stay. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Negative: Nothing, everything was great. However, the stairs might prove a challenge to those less mobile.

Summary: Very comfortable house in great location - would stay again and recommend to others.

Positive: Host was nice and quick in response. The house was very spacious and it had all the facilities, so that was nice. It was clean.

Negative: The first part of the stairs is missing a railing, that would be nice to have and the stairs/first floor creaked a bit, not annoying. The mattress of one of the beds were hard for me, but that is personal preference.

Summary: Nice and spacious house in a short walking distance from the city centre.

Positive: The living /dining room is amazing, kitchen has everything you would need. Beautiful backyard. And the host kindly provides with extras like: nice beers, etc, which is so convenient. Clear communications, great location, would stay again.

Negative: It is not what we didn't like, but just a note, if you have any mobility issues, the second and 3rd floor are acceptable via stairs therefore you need to consider this. But we had no such issues.

Positive: There is plenty of space in the house and everything you need is already available: Spices, tea, cutlery, crockery, washing-up liquid and even a selection of beers! The host is very helpful and responded immediately when we had a small issue. The location is close to city centre and there is free parking nearby. A nice little pub 50 m down the road.

Negative: The stairs are a challenge The noise on the side facing the street is disturbing . The couch is getting on in years and should be cleaned

Positive: Location was good for the city although sometimes a little noisy at night. there was a nearby bakery and supermarket. The house was lovely, clean, modern, very well equipped and spacious, with a small garden that would have been great in better weather. the kitchen and bathroom were big and perfect for our needs and we loved the bedrooms in the roof. The front bedroom would have benefited from a mirror.

Negative: The first morning the street was being dug up and we had no power or hot water so we could not shower or cook anything, even boil a kettle for coffee, or use the internet. This was definite disappointment. Returning in late afternoon, we still had no lights, hot water in the bathroom or wifi. It was stressful to have to try to contact the owner, given that we couldn't charge our phones either, and although he sent a friend round and then his father who kindly managed to fix the water and upstairs lights, the downstairs lights were not fixed until the following afternoon. The stairs in the property need careful negotiation and without lights would have been a little dangerous, we thought. We loved the house and our visit, but these aspects meant it was not as relaxing a break as it might have been and we didn't have access to all the facilities all the time.

Positive: Location was very good. Host was excellent with information. House was exactly as described. Spotlessly clean.

Negative: The stairs were a bit tricky to use with no hand rail at bits of them but we knew that before we booked. More bath towels would have been better as we had to use the same one for 6 days.
