Wonderful Country property located on our 60-acre family owned Walnut farm. Enjoy the quiet ranch life while also being just a 5-minute drive to adorable downtown Winters with Wine Tasting, restaurants, Tappas, fresh local coffee hangouts & shopping! This is a perfect place to getaway from the city and enjoy California-style outdoor living year-round.
Think green! Our solar generates our ranch's energy needs.
Palm trees and a huge pool overlook the various fruit trees and walnut orchard. Guests can relax poolside, or cozy up next to the outdoor fireplace, a 900sq ft gazebo provides shade, show off your tricks on the diving board, cook in the outdoor kitchen w/gas stove, sink, and a full-size fridge or enjoy the back deck overlooking the swim-spa, fruit orchard, & rose garden.
The night sky is perfect for stargazing and we have a massive outdoor fireplace with plenty of Walnut firewood included (free!)
BEDROOM 1: A spacious bedroom with King bed, crib, Smart TV & sliding glass door leading to the back porch with the fruit orchard, roses, shady awning, table & hot tub! The grass yard is perfect for playing games like Crickett or Disc Golf (games are included with the house!)
BEDROOM 2: A spacious bedroom with King bed, Smart TV, and views to the fruit orchard & rose bushes. Lucky guests will see the seasonal Starlings building nests or feeding their babies right from the bedroom window.
BEDROOM 3: A spacious game room well stocked with plenty of board games for the whole family to enjoy. A pool table is always a hit, sliding glass door leading to the pool and plenty of views. This room can easily be converted into a bedroom, it has it's own door to close off from the house and we provide 3 Queen sized airbeds and plenty of extra bedding for comfort.
LIVING ROOM: Luxerious reclinging electric couches, both the foot rest and headrest are adjustable at the touch of a button.
POOL: Our pool boasts 50,000 gallons and is 10' deep. The pool is seasonal and temperature is based on the weather. The best time of year to book for the pool use is May-September. This is an outdoor pool on a ranch and is surrounded by trees and plants, because it is an outdoor pool it's normal for things like bugs or leaves to land in the pool. The water is sanitized with chlorine and we ask guests to expect either ourselves or an employee to check on the pool between the hours of 0730-0930 or upon coordination with you for a different time. We cannot guarantee the weather will cooperate during your stay and we cannot provide refunds for things like rainy days, wind, or other acts of nature.
Overlooking the pool is a great outdoor kitchen with food prep area, fridge/freezer perfect for keeping drinks cool, 4-burner stove & sink.
Next to the pool we have a GIANT 900 square food awning with a massive fireplace and plenty of seating. Twinkle lights and outdoor fans set the stage for nighttime.
Bluetooth speaker is included! Note: Quiet hours are from 9PM-8AM daily
SWIM SPA: The 12-person swim-Spa is HUGE and is a huge hit in both winter & summer guests. The temperature is adjustable can be set to either swimming pool or hot tub temperature.
This is a working ranch and guests should note that although we do our best to give guests plenty of privacy there's always a chance you'll see one of us or an employee at work in the orchard or driving past on a tractor. Guests booking in October should keep in mind that harvest will be in full swing so there will be more noise & activities than usual.

Summary: The property listing said it had room for 10. We had six adults (3 couples) and expected 3 bedrooms, but that third space no longer had a pullout couch no one warned us about, and is not at all like a bedroom in terms of space, getting dark at night, or privacy at all with several windows and sliding doors into the kitchen. When we got there we found a garbage bag full of trash inside the door for me to take out. I also never received a code so I had to call the owner day off to figure out how to get in. I’m teens if cleanliness the house inside was mostly fine. Our shower window ledge had a dead flu with ants all over it on it.

Summary: This venue is a great place to have a family gathering or a group of friends. The place really lives up to the beauty and luxury that is shown in the photos on the listing. It is very spacious and inviting and also well-stocked with toys and entertainment for both adults and young kids. We had nine children attend, from 2 months to 12 years old. The pool is warm and pleasant in July, with a good array of pool float-ables and a diving board. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and cookware; I was able to find most of what I looked for in the kitchen during the weekend—more than I would expect! The host is quick to respond to questions and requests. I invited friends and family from both Davis and the East Bay, and they found the place easy to get to and back again in a day. The drive from Berkeley is about an hour. The hot tub is huge and relaxing. I could set it at 104, which is the temperature I like. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. I give the place a big thumbs up!

Summary: The house is very nicely decorated, and has a lot of great amenities. With the pool, hot tub, pool table and many other games there is a lot to do. Our only complaint is, the listing did not make it clear that this is actually a two bedroom and you can use the game room as a third bedroom with an air bed. Because we were three adult couples, one couple got the short end of the stick and had to sleep on the air bed. If I had known that, I would not have booked this property for this group. The two actual bedrooms were very comfortable so if we were 4 adults with kids it would not have been an issue. Other than that, our stay was great and we really enjoyed the outside seating areas.

Summary: The house was amazing! Everything was in working order and in swell condition. The host was very friendly, and we especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor fireplace, as well as the massive hot tub. Overall it was a very exiting and relaxing stay.

Summary: We completely enjoyed our stay at this farmhouse! Coming from out of state, we chose it as a central area for our adult children to join us for Christmas. The common rooms- kitchen, dining room, family room, game room- were perfect for having our family get together for Christmas. The kitchen is very spacious and had everything we needed to make a special dinner. The game room is a fun gathering place for playing pool. We spent a lot of time watching football on the HUGE tv in the family room lounging on the comfortable furniture. We didn't use the pool/outdoor kitchen because it was too cold outside at the time. If we are ever looking to stay in the area again, we will certainly look this place up!
