Beautiful “newly renovated” 3200 sqft 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home sitting on 23 acres of private tranquility yet close to all! 5 min to 1st class dining & shopping. 5 min to Lake Wylie! 20 min to uptown Charlotte. Previous owner had a Koi fish farm on the property, we kept the fish in the pond and completely renovated the house and cleared off nearly 8 acres around the property. House sits on 23 acres of fenced in land with trails for walking or mountain bikeing. Kayaking welcome on lake! Pets welcome. With the house being so close to water children must be watched at all times!

Summary: Phil (Property Owner) was in communication with me before we arrived and stayed in communication through our arrival. The property was as described online. The house provided a great space for my family of 6 to enjoy breakfast and each others company in the amazing kitchen and adjoining dining room (I have bragged about the stove to many people since I stayed here!!) We enjoyed time on the deck and cooking supper on the charcoal grill and also enjoyed our time down by the pond and watching the turtles from the swing and fish from the dock. This was a great retreat place nestled away in the city. The home provided a great place of relaxation for a couple of days. I travel through Charlotte for work on occasion and will definitely stay at this home again.

Summary: The home and property are beautiful! The home is very large. We were a party of 9 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed canoeing around the pond and walking around the 20 acres. Great place and would definitely stay there again. The host was wonderful.

Summary: We took a family trip up to Charlotte to visit Scarowinds. This was a great property and just what we needed. it was easy to get to and not far away from where we were going. We were in a neighborhood but we still felt like we had the privacy that we wanted. The pond outside was nice to look at and the property was big enough to have a nice little nature walk.
