INSIDE THE HOUSE
Enter into the open-concept, mountain-view living space. Sit down to dinner at the 10-person dining table – the mountains are your dinner’s backdrop. To the right is a living room with a huge sectional sofa with room for the whole group to sprawl out. A 55” internet-connected flat-screen TV ensures you don’t miss your favorite shows, and a set of doors leads to the patio from here.
Terra-cotta tile extends into the kitchen. Its large galley design includes tons of prep space on butcher block counters and a double stainless sink. Everything you need is here: an electric range, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer w/ water and ice, a microwave, toaster and a Keurig coffeemaker. The kitchen door makes it easy to take dinner out to the patio.
Past the kitchen you’ll find the 1st bedroom with a full-size bed and a perfect view of the sunset.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and a 32” Vizio television, bluetooth soundbar - plus sliding doors to the rear patio.
Across the hall, the shared bathroom includes a large, single-sink vanity with lots of storage and a tub/shower combo.
The spacious master bedroom is at the end of the hall, with a queen-size bed, a 40” TV and an en suite bathroom with a vanity and walk-in shower. There are also double doors to the rear patio, which offers shaded space, a table that seats 6, outdoor furniture and lounges, a wet outdoor kitchen area, extra chairs and gorgeous views of the mountains.
In the evening, enjoy views of the starry sky or, in the morning, have your breakfast outside before the day warms up.

Summary: My sister and I enjoyed our stay in beautiful Borrego Springs. We hiked, loved the Borrego Art Institute, and the cute restaurants. The house was very clean, wonderful outdoor patio, comfortable beds, fantastic location. We walked to town for shopping and restaurants.We would definitely stay again.Small issues - poor lighting in the bathrooms and very little closet space.

Summary: We loved being just a block from town, and a short drive from popular local trails. The owners' House Book provides all the information guests could possibly need about the home, local restaurants, hiking trails and other things to do. We were delighted that the APP based TV had the sports we wanted to watch. We plan to return next year.

Summary: This was a lovely house to stay in and a great location. It has everything you could ask for in a vacation spot. Beautifully decorated, desert style, with all the amenities. And it’s very comfortable. Comfortable beds, comfortable furniture. And the back porch is perfect for relaxing in great desert weather. The hosts were prompt with online greetings and felt very accessible. I knew they were standing by if we needed anything. Loved it!

Summary: The property was exactly as advertised. When we arrived, the property was very clean. Communication from time of reservation to time of checkout was excellent. We have family that winters at Roadrunner golf club and this was a great "base camp" for us to be able to spend time with family and also be able to get away at the same time. We will definitely be renting here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. This home offered clean, spacious living with all the amenities we could ask for with a private patio/BBQ area. The only thing we would have needed was a place to hang up clothing in the primary bedroom and the front bedroom. The other bedroom had a very small area for hanging clothes. That being said, we would stay there again. Thank you!

Summary: We loved the home, and how well it was stocked with food prep equipment. I doubt you would need to bring anything. The living room slider badly needs new roller bearings, but everything else worked fine. We would hesitate to visit again.

Summary: Our third stay at Casa Colibri and we again thank Brad for being a great host, offering a very relaxing place to hang in and having it be so easy! We are happy to have some of our nightscape photos taken from our last trip posted on VRBO. This trip, we had some cloudy nights and some wind that interfered with another shoot, so we'll just have to come back!! We love this place for its ease of use, its overall comfort and security, and because the host makes it a perfect place. I'm sure we will return many more times as this house is very much the soul of Borrego Springs. Thanks again Brad!
