Positive: The property was at an amazing location. Very accessible. The host was proactive and he had a team to help resolve any issue. The apartment is beautifully designed, well maintained. Positive: If you want to study the rave scene of the Amalfi coast, Casa Valery is NOT the place to stay. If you want to enjoy the coast and the scenery, it’s fabulous. The views at a height above almost all other places is fantastic. The terrace is huge, beautiful and well kept. It’s extremely quiet, except for the birds singing, and an occasional rooster. Fabulous restaurants close by, a supermarket, bus connections to Amalfi and Positano. WiFi is fine though not fast. You’re not in a big city. Kitchen well equipped. Traffic had completely broken down when I arrived in Amalfi, so Francesco picked me up on his scooter. Thanks a lot. Don’t bring a car. The roads are not built for the amount of traffic. Walk, use the buses (which are often full) or rent a scooter. The preferred way of transport among the locals. I’ll definitely go back to enjoy this beautiful place.

Negative: The rooms have older furniture and some parts are off limits. The owners use the house during winter time. Toilet, bathroom and kitchen are fine though not modern, but why would you stay inside with the fabulous scenery outside.

Summary: Setting and surroundings are 10 out of 10. Gorgeous

Positive: Clean and well equipped with beautiful views. Very comfortable. Even left us some treats in the kitchen on arrival. Excellent property manager who met us, helped with our luggage and gave us lots of helpful information.

Negative: The location. Next time we would stay in one of the main places where it’s easier to get around with options for transport. The bus was full and a taxi to Positano was going to cost €240. so if you don’t want to hire a scooter/car the only other option to get around is walk along the main road or find mule trails.

Summary: Nice if you want to stay in one place.
