Positive: Like stopping at a friend's whilst they were away. A very individual home with 2 floors of bedrooms and furnished with personally chosen pieces of furniture. Bathroom modern with excellent shower. Comfortable place to sit and relax and make a drink downstairs.
Negative: Didn't meet staff or owners. Breakfast minimal. Pillow very soft.

Positive: Great place. Super cosy. The downstairs common area was very comfortable
Negative: Would have been good to be told upfront that the restaurant was closed (swing every message we received from the property urged us to book in to a venue that wasn’t going to be open). We also would have liked to be given some information/ instructions around what we could and could not do in the kitchen and service area as we felt uncomfortable preparing food there - but as everything in the area was closed we really had no choice. Fire wood would also have been a bonus…. It was cold in there

Positive: Fantastic historic place in the heart of Vågå, right over from the church. This old house has all the warmth and cleanliness of modern comforts whilst retaining its charm. Breakfast was superb. Overall great value for money. I was only here very briefly for an overnight business trip but I would happily come back!
Negative: Self check-in was a little confusing, and felt a little awkward walking in to an empty house. I was allocated a different wrong room number by the system than had been prepared. All the rooms had the doors open but only one was made up with sheets and towels, and I couldn't have known that I was the only guest that night. This was all quickly rectified with a phone call, so no problem, mistakes happen. Ideally I would have been shown in, but I appreciate that self check-in helps keep the price very reasonable which was one of the main reasons for choosing Sov Lodge.
