Positive: It's very basic but functional. Great location, comfortable beds, air-conditioning, quiet area, and warm shower. We were able to refill our water bottles from the cold fridge in reception, and they let me keep my oat milk in their fridge, too. It was 5 minutes from Food and Fables restaurant, which had great vegan options. We hired kayaks from a stall nearby for 350 pesos each to paddle on the Loboc River, which was great fun. We walked up the river and saw plenty of fireflies in the evening (no need for a tour). We loved our stay here.
