Positive: Truly exceptional property with attention paid to the smallest of details. We stay in many many properties across the country and this one far exceeds all our expectations, and the host really does go above and beyond for her guests. Very comfortable, great beds, big bath sheet towels, immaculately clean and all amenities you could possibly ever need. We will come back here again and again!

Sarah is an amazing host - check-in instructions were very clear, the property is absolutely beautiful, very clean and high quality furnishings (with super comfy beds!) Sarah was on hand for anything that we could have needed, not that we did as everything was already provided and more. She gave us great recommendations of local places, where is good to eat etc. Fantastic!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention has gone into creating such a comfortable and welcoming place. The property itself is beautifully presented—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the living spaces warm and inviting, and the kitchen had all the essentials and more. Thoughtful touches throughout really set this place apart. The location is perfect: peaceful and picturesque, yet ideally placed for exploring Repton and the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. Local walks, historic sites, and charming pubs are all close by, making it an ideal base whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely keen to ensure we had the best possible stay. Communication was excellent from booking to departure. Overall, this was an exceptional property that exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: Beautifully kitted out, it’s everything you will ever need. The decor is phenomenally done and you can tell the host has thought about anything and everything you might need. From coffee and dressing gowns in the rooms with biscuits in the morning to prosecco and beers in the fridge for evening arrivals. You can chill in the den, get work done in the office or just relax in the media room. For pleasure or work, this place is where you want to be. The host is just a message away and responds really quickly if you need anything, not that you would as everything is very well thought through. They even recommended the best pubs to go for food in the area and how to get to the major cities on the Saturday night as we wanted to go out (with train times!). I’d love to come back in the summer as there is a nice outside area too we didn’t get to utilise in the winter. The beds are super comfy, my partner and I slept for much longer than usual and honesty were gutted when we checked out as we didn’t want to leave. We will be coming back!! It gets booked up quickly as we have tried a few times as we travel there for work so make sure you book in advance and don’t miss out. We were really happy we managed to secure this place as there isn’t much in the area from what we could see and this is by far the best spot.

Positive: The house has exception decor and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It is spotlessly clean, new and modern with quirky decor and attention to detail. There is media and Wi-Fi in every room and the kitchen has all the essential utensils. It has very comfy beds, crisp clean bedding and soft fluffy towels. We had an amazing stay and visited two of the local pubs in the village which were a ten minute walk away and both busy warm and welcoming. The host was super friendly, helpful and available to answer any questions. This is a truly fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend it.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the linens were top quality, and everything was spotlessly clean. The whole experience felt like staying in a high-end hotel — one you never want to leave!
