Summary: It was a wonderful and charming hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast yummy, and the location can not be beat. The only problem was the motion sensor night light that lit up our whole room every time someone moved. We put a blanket over it but since it was built into the step into the bathroom it made it a bit tricky for anyone to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. For our family, we were all so tired it didn’t matter.

Summary: We were there in mid-Aug when temperatures were very high, and unfortunately our third floor room was stifling hot even with their rotating fan. We weren’t able to sleep that night. Wish they had a small portable A/C. Otherwise the rest of the stay was great.

Summary: Wonderful and cozy. I had forgotten my documents in the train and the Hotel staff helped to me to retrieve them by helping me guiding us. I am very greateful to the attention, the affection and concern.

Summary: Hotel Rüden is a delightful hotel. It is close to the train station, so it is very easy to get there. The hotel is very nicely updated but has kept its very old style of the beautiful building. We even took away some ideas for our own home remodel ;-). Beds and linens all very comfortable. While it was quite warm during the day, the lack of air conditioning did not bother us at night with the window open. Breakfast was very nice, and we enjoyed poaching our own eggs and eating some of the local cheese. It is about 45 mins walk the Rhein falls, and only a short walk to restaurants and other sites.
