Positive: I was staying by myself and have never stayed anywhere except hotel when traveling alone. When I walked in the door I knew it was the perfect place. It was beautiful. Clean. Right across from Mitchie Tavern. I come to Charlottesville once a month. I will never go anywhere else. It was big. Even had a washer and dryer. Honestly can’t say enough great things about it. The owner was extremely kind. I usually bolt my hotel room door and even sometimes put a chair against the door. Embarrassing to say but I have become a chicken. I have travel many places by myself. Walked in and honestly Thank God for giving me such a beautiful place and a safe place to stay.

Negative: Can’t say one thing bad about it. I don’t hold back if I don’t care for something . The value was excellent.

Positive: Nestled in the Virginia woods near Monticello, we loved hearing and seeing the birds in the morning is the sun rose over the trees. The comfort with every necessity in place was great. The beds, pillows, shower, temperature control, etc. were all wonderfully comfortable. The location for longer stay is ideal. We especially liked the welcome from the host and great communication - we would certainly return!

Negative: Everything was good. We had to figure out closing the blinds, which worked well, but several interior digital lights,which were not too distracting for us, but could be for some.
