Positive: Great host, very accommodating (early check-in) and very friendly. Told us the story of the house. Great 70s deco! So many small details, amazing! Great sauna. Excellent equipped kitchen and good breakfast box.

Positive: Really enjoyed our stay at Solvillan. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the 70s deco makes it a lot of fun. The shower and sauna is shared with the other guests (around 8 in total) and there is at least an additoinal toilet. It is super clean and easy. The backyard is gorgeous and really well-kept. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful at all times and very accomodating with our arrival and departure times. All in all it was a fantastic stay in a b&b that feels very much like home and at the same time special.

Negative: If cycling, the location is very convenient in terms of jumping on the ferries (a little over 1km from Galtby) and also quite close to Korpo. The only slightly negative thing about it is that you can only get there via the main road, which is not great for walking and on which cars drive quite fast. It would be great to have a bike path or a sidewalk across Korpo, but of course this is not something for Solvilla to fix and it seems like it might affect most accomodation on the island. Also, a lock on the second toilet would be great.

Positive: The host met us late after check-in time as we arrived with the last ferry. She kindly explained how the place worked and some interesting background information about the place. Sauna was offered which was highly appreciated after a long hike that day. Huge bathroom with shower and toilet with sauna. Additional separate toilet so no waiting time to go there. Quiet co-guests that respected each other was nice. Fridge and freezer with dedicated space for all rooms where we could store our groceries.

Negative: A bit pricey, but the place was so nice so it's not really fair to complain about that.

Summary: Nicer than expected, clean, lots of space.
