Positive: It is the best accommodation we had in all Lofoten and I would not hesitate to return to this place. Communication with the owner was fast and kind. The house is AMAZING! There is too much space. A very comfortable living room with large windows to see the auroras and the fantastic views to the sea and mountains! The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two toilets. There is a large bathroom with two sinks and a washing machine. It is an authentic Lofoten place and we loved it! The location is perfect to do trips to Reine or to the beaches on the north. In Leknes (15 min auto-drive) you will find a big supermarket. The beds and blankets are super comfortable.

Negative: The rooms are a bit poorly soundproofed but that's really normal in wooden cabins! This detail is not relevant because there are so many good things in this place!

Positive: Great location, only 15min from leknes where the airport and groceries are at. Amazing view of the ocean and coast. House was alot bigger and more spacious than expected, nice big kitchen with stock utensils for food prep. Place can truly fit 8ppl total with 2 bedrooms on one end of the upstairs and a 2 more bedrooms (bunk and double) on other half of upstairs.

Negative: There seemed to be a mysterious fly problem. Several would appear end of day and very buzzing around the windows. We would remove these and then the next day same thing. We couldn't figure out how they kept getting inside. They were a little annoying but was minor. The kitchen area could get hot with cooking, there is a set of windows that can be opened but takes a while for enough airflow to cool things down. The railing handhold going to the bunk on east end of the house was very loose and the stairs are very narrow depth and steep. This is a safety hazard and would not work for someone unsteady, older or small children who could trip and fall. Ok for sure footed young adults, esp if you go down the stairs backwards so less likely to launch forward dangerously on your way down the stairs. The west end of the house stairs were standard and safe, led to 2 bedrooms.
