Positive: The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. All meals served in the Aloe restaurant were excellent - breakfasts were delicious and filling with homemade bread, eggs, avocado, ham, granola, fruit, and more. Dinners were also top notch- it’s clear that their chefs and entire team take pride in what they do.

Positive: Good atmosphere and great design of the patio and restaurant. Views from our balcony.

Negative: Shower (antique bathtub which for showering was uncomfortable), little light in the bathroom overall.

Positive: The property was absolutely beautiful with lovely grounds with lots of cactus and succulents. We enjoyed spending time in the pool and on our balcony. The bed was really comfortable and the room nice and cool. We also had a meal at the restaurant which was very good. Reception staff and evening restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also a younger lady at breakfast.

Negative: There were a lot of cleaning staff who spent a lot of the day sitting in the gardens or listening to music in the cleaning room. One morning we had asked for an early breakfast so we could go for a trip but because the cleaners were having their breakfast we were told initially to leave (8:15am). Not a complaint as such but just a little unusual for staff to outweigh guests using the same facilities.

Positive: Our stay was awesome! I love the hotel and everywhere you looked was beautiful. The staff were awesome and special mention for Diego the manager and also Juan our waiter in the restaurant. Juan chose local wine for us and recomended where we could travel around in the area. He was such an awesome waiter and we absolutely loved everything about the place. I was sad to leave!

Positive: Lovely hotel, possibly the best we have stayed in so far during our month long Chile/Argentina trip. We had a very well appointed and large room, maybe slightly too close to the restaurant & therefore a little noisy up until 11pm. Restaurant was excellent and we thought reasonable value for money. We liked the restaurant so much that we ate there both nights of our stay. We were very well looked after by our waiter, Juan. Muchas gracias Juan! Breakfast was also excellent. Diego, the owner, was also very helpful.

Negative: We thought the evening astronomy experience was disappointing. The person hosting this was a poor communicator and he assumed too much about the audience’s knowledge of astronomy (ie too many unexplained technical terms). Only 3 opportunities to use the telescope and the darkness was disturbed by lights from other guests rooms etc. This does not reflect on our opinion of the hotel because as I’ve said above the hotel was excellent!

Summary: Excellent and very enjoyable stay in a lovely village!
