Positive: The complex is extremely large, with several towers. The infinity pool area costs extra — and it’s very expensive. There are no pools or relaxation areas included in the regular room price, which was quite disappointing. Now to the most bizarre part: if you’re traveling with younger kids, be aware that they are required to wear a life vest in the pool, even in the shallow area where they can easily stand. The staff do not speak any English, so they just keep insisting — several of them standing by the pool — that your child must wear the vest, no matter what you say. Our child refused to wear it (she loves diving), so the whole “infinity pool” experience lasted about 10 minutes before we had to leave. It was honestly absurd — hard to believe, but true. The room itself was fine, no complaints — just a standard hotel room. We ended up eating outside the enormous complex, at the most genuine and lovely restaurant instead of paying the ridiculously high prices for food inside.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at Sol Beach Jindo. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the ocean view from the room was very nice. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a few nice restaurants, cafe, and a supermarket within the hotel. The hotel's surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful.

Negative: The shower towels in the room were too small. The air conditioner did not cover the entire room. Housekeeping is only provided once during the stay. And there were no curtains in the room.

Positive: Location was great to drive to. Rooms were a little less than par w American resort quality, but still very clean. Unless you are a member everything is priced individually out of pocket. The infinity pool people just stand around in floaties including kids and adults alike. We mostly relaxed and enjoyed the island.

Negative: Do not like that everything is a la carte pricing. When I think resort things are usually included, but nothing was included with the overnight stay.

Summary: Meh. Probably would come back to the island but not to the resort
