Negative: Matrass of bed was quite hard and not comfortable. We were surprised to have 2 single beds put together while we booked the room for two people. When we pointed this out at the checkout their simple answer was that usually guests ask the hotel to get a 'normal' 2-person bed. We thought this would be actually normal in a Deluxe room for two people to have.

Positive: Very nice room with great amenities, helpful staff that also proposed an upgrade with breakfast that was more value for money, very good service across the hotel.

Negative: The area apart from its benefits of being central and just next to the train station comes with a few drawbacks on noise and surroundings. The sum though is positive.

Negative: Key system was down when I checked in. The room had coffee grounds or residue on the table, the safe did not work, and television converter was temperamental, and when I tried to take a show the first night, there was no shampoo or body wash in the containers. The next morning, the house manager was appropriately apologetic and spoke, I am sure to the cleaning staff. The safe was never operational. On check out, the said there was a mini bar charge, but that wasn’t mine. (They took it off the bill.) I imagine is was from the previous occupants, and the cleaning staff never did the count or replenished the soap, etc.
