Positive: Everything was great. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful, and the overall atmosphere of the place was very pleasant. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable here.

Negative: However, I was extremely surprised to see that the receptionist (manager) and his assistant were spending the night sleeping together on a very small bench. They were lying spooning. I would strongly recommend that the owner provide better working conditions and offer these employees a proper bed. I left very early, otherwise I probably would not have witnessed this.

Positive: Had a very pleasant stay. Rooms were clean, peaceful surroundings, and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Travel tip: If you are coming by bus, make sure you get down at the first stop near Kalpetta city entrance, not at the Kalpetta bus stand. Bike and car rentals are easily available near the city entrance, whereas no rental bikes are available at or near the Kalpetta bus stand. The resort is around 1 km away from the bus stand, so planning this helps a lot. Good stay, good food, and a nice overall experience. Highly recommended
