Positive: Very helpful and thoughtful hosts

Negative: There is a dirt road of 34km going up to Rhodes. It is drivable in normal weather, but we couldn’t reach the cottage due to heavy rain as the road got too slippery.

Positive: We didn't have breakfast, but had a lovely dinner! The food was exceptional and the atmosphere with the beautifully set tables a pleasant surprise. The service was prompt and with a smile and we appreciated the personal welcome. Thank you for the memorable evening.

Negative: We can't complain about anything. We couldn't believe that we had such a comfortable, clean, fully equipped house for only R300! It was much more than a bargain. Thank you!

Summary: We went to Rhodes not knowing anything about it, and were very impressed by the "dorpie" and people!
