Positive: The Snooze is definitely a very good place to get to know Yogyakarta. You can do most things by foot. The women in the Snooze are wonderful, they are so helpful and friendly, I never had problems to ask them. The garden was great to have breakfast there and even to be there during the day. There’s only missing a hammock…😉 The breakfast was also very good and we really enjoyed our stay there.

Negative: Sooner or later it would be great, if the mattresses got changed, they are already a little too soft.

Summary: We had a great stay in the Snooze and will everybody, who is visiting Yogyakarta, recommend it! Thank you, dear Snooze t

Positive: Super appreciated experience. The girls have been amazingly available for suggestions on our trip and chatting about the experienced day. Breakfast was great and we were offered many iced teas! The atmosphere of the location is very enjoyable and probably is improved by the people working in.

Negative: The place does not describe itself as a hostel, but it actually seems working as an hostel. Nonetheless the experience has been great, need to consider that room and bathroom are dislocated one to the other.

Positive: Location was central and felt very safe. Great local restaurants near by. We really recommend ‘Bolo Soto’ which is just around the corner. The staff were so lovely, they helped out with any questions we had. Another plus is that the fascilities are very clean. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Positive: Snooze is such a great hostel, with fantastic facilities, very cleaned shared bathrooms, aesthetically pleasing rooms, calming outdoor sitting areas. Great location in city central area, walking distance to the busy streets. The breakfasts provided are amazing, they’d even prepare you a breakfast takeaway box if you need to leave early. All the guests that stayed there are all respectful and quiet, but everyone’s up for a chat if you’re keen. Remember to chat more with the hostel staff, most of them are young local females that are passionate in learning and practising English. They genuinely care about your day and your trip:)

Negative: Wifi connection is weak in general, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. You need to be in the common area to have better signal.

Summary: Every single of the staff are the nicest human you’ll ever meet. They’ll 100% make your trip so much better

Positive: Amazing hostel in the heart of Yogyakarta. So good vibes and with a sustainable approach (vegan friendly, low energy, green). Good location! The staff is very helpful, friendly and nice. They gave me tips and advices. Great breakfast. Totally recommend
