Positive: Great place for the 5 of us. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with equipment for cooking. No spare bin bags though so bring one or two along. Nice hot water in showers. Seating area with new rattan furniture out the back was nice and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay, the holiday park is nice and quiet, very low key with play area and crazy golf. Kids enjoyed playing football in little area set up with goals. Also important to know hill down to Polperro is hard work on way back up, we quite liked the challenge but for anyone with any mobility issues etc good to know. This was made clear in info pack in lodge.

Negative: Only couple of things could have improved, sofas in living room a little tired (kids didn't mind) and would have been good to know you had to pay £30 for week to use pool, not a big deal as not a lot of money but good to know in advance. We didn't use pool in end as it was quite tired looking and kids loved beach so no need..

Summary: Lovely, relaxing week away. Polperro is beautiful and well worth the hilly walks to get to it!!

Positive: Lovely spot on holiday park.. accommodation was comfortable.

Negative: The property needs a good clean.. windows hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The bedding needed replacing pillows and duvets. The outside furniture needed a good clean.. the decking and rails full of cobwebs. When you are paying a £1,000 you expect it to have a certain standard!

Summary: we enjoyed our stay because you can walk into Polperro..

Positive: lovely quiet location close to town. Warm comfy lodge with comfy chairs during a very wet jubilee weekend. Loved Polperro so lovely. Had a rib ride, beach visit, pub meals and drinks as well as visiting friends in the area.

Negative: The weather- typically!

Summary: Lovely comfy clean lodge for up to six people.
