Positive: Wonderful little hotel in old maison with anexes. Each room unique. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant also popular with locals. This time the restaurant was hired by a party, but the staff had for their hotel guests free coliflower soup, sallad, bread and coffe. Breakfast with a lot of warm options. Locations close to tourist attractions and transportation.

Negative: The only thin I did not like was the pancakes. Cold, tasteless. Not even cream and strawberry jam could help

Negative: Paid parking was a little to much, but it was at the location, not garaged.

Positive: The hotel was in a lovely setting in a series of old buildings. There was a lovely bar/restaurant which served fabulous food with happy staff.

Negative: Our room was in the building immediately off the dining courtyard so had to walk through the customers (and it was busy) to get to our room. The room was very small and being on ground floor heard the footsteps of those above.

Positive: Its location was ideal, convenient to reach on foot from the station and close to the museum and to the marvelous historic castle in Kalmar. We slept well as the hotel was blessedly quiet. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous and accommodating when we needed to store our bags for the day.

Positive: It was so awesome! This boutique hotel is such a gem in Kalmar city! Went there for Easter and I wish we stayed longer. Close proximity to the central station, the Kalmar Castle and museum, and the shopping/resto area. So so charming and will definitely come back. They have incredible breakfast buffet with made to order omelette. Definitely not your typical Swedish simple breakfast...an elevated version, that is. They have also "kvällsmat", soup, salad and bread light dinner included in the price. That was a nice touch for when you just want something light for the evening.

Negative: Wish we had stayed longer.

Summary: It was so awesome! This boutique hotel is such a gem in Kalmar city! Everything was perfect!
