Positive: Friendly and service minded host. Nice spacious common areas. I sometimes choose anonymous business hotels and sometimes personal home-like accommodation with private hosts. How can I compare these on the same scale with numbers - I cannot. Our stay in Kongsberg was a memory for life and our host Thana contributed to that by listening to our questions and doing her very best to make a meeting possible using her networks and offering her time. The homelike accommodation had spacious common areas, fully equipped kitchen and we spent some good time there between our programs. Both bedrooms are rented out separately. The bathroom is shared and the only toilet is within the bathroom. Sleep well 1 is the smaller room and should in my opinion not show up as an alternative when searching a room for two on booking.com. Better pay for sleep well 2 if you are two adults.

Negative: We had the small bedroom with 120 cm, very soft bed. However this is not what we will remember from our wonderful stay in Kongsberg. Next time however I would choose sleep well 2

Summary: Nice apartment in residential area short walk from town center. Free parking.

Positive: Staying at Thana's house was a pleasure. Her apartament is delightful and very clean. Everything we wanted was at our disposal. When we wanted to heat up our pizza the host prepared for us everything we needed, so we didn't have to look for this by ourselves. We recommend staying at Thana's house! 😊
