Positive: The cottage had almost everything we needed. We just couldn't find chopping boards when preparing a meal. Everything else was good, a nice treat on arrival and very good communication from the owner.

Negative: Found some hairs on the bedroom floor. The downstairs lights were a bit dim for when cooking.

Negative: The only thing I can say is probably not enough storage for food but that is it.

Positive: The hosts were very welcoming. They left us a bag of popcorn, sweets some delicious scones and jam for the for us to enjoy. We loved the little cottage. There was a dvd player with a choice of DVDs to watch to keep us entertained in the evening, as well as games to play. We loved the brochures and leaflets in the magazine rack, which was very helpful and informative. The beds were comfortable. Overall the cottage was very lovely in a great location.

Negative: There were some sort of bugs under the carpet downstairs that kept appearing in the evenings. We swept them away, but they continued to come out during the evenings. Other than that it was a lovely comfortable place to stay. And the hosts were very kind, thoughtful and welcoming.

Summary: It was a peaceful, homely stay.
