Positive: Very sweet place, clearly set up with attention and care. We loved that it was right on the water and there were kayaks for use. We were there visiting our kid who was at camp in Sydney, ME, which was close and convenient. The treehouse was well-appointed, the hot tub a big bonus for us. It was peaceful and calm and a perfect little vacation spot. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Negative: There isn't really much not to like, it was a great place overall. We could have used an oven (or one of those microwave/oven combos; there is a microwave), but we did just fine with what was there. Ditto on salad/mixing bowl (we were not able to find one and didn't know to bring one ourselves) and dishwashing liquid for hand-washing. These are really minor things and we had a wonderful stay with all the necessary comforts.

Positive: The welcome was amazing! As I first opened the door the fireplace was going, there was a lit tree in the corner and there was a fridge full of beverages and a welcome basket with all sorts of goodies including a bottle of sparkling cider.

Negative: No issues at all. If anything the stairs to the loft were a tiny bit scary

Positive: Feras was a wonderful host, and the chalet was perfect. I was obsessing over the pictures because I really wanted to prepare a family dinner - and he brought in a dining table, and set it...so beautifully! We were greeted with fresh cookies and Maine salt water taffy, mini cheesecakes in the fridge. He had a warm fire going - just an oasis! There was a hot tub we never got to, sadly, but it looked pretty awesome. The was a perfect fit for our little group of three, I think it could comfortably fit a family of four. If it weren't fall (chill and rainy) - we would have loved to take advantage of the watersports offered! (PS, we were able to bring our dog - always a bonus, and we were very grateful for that.)

Negative: I hate being asked if we didn't like something because it was the loveliest stay! It definitely was more of an investment than a hotel in Waterville would have been (for Parent's Weekend), but very much worth the price for the space, the ambiance/decor, beautiful outdoor surroundings, and all the lovely extras provided by the wonderful host. We loved it and very much hope to return.

Summary: Such a serene stay - we felt very cared for by the host!
