Summary: This is consistently an affordable yet clean and well-maintained place to stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s a restaurant that’s open some evenings (Fri and Sat I believe, maybe other evenings). Safe quiet place to stay!

Summary: This is a lovely little spot. If you’re looking for a lot of action you probably wouldn’t like it. If you want a nice quiet place to relax this is the spot. The restaurant is very good and reasonable prices. They were open for dinner only. We found a great spot for lunch about 10 miles away in Beckley- The Dish. Excellent food and service. We chose to come to the area to go to the national park. It’s a little less than an hour away but worth the trip. Enjoy the view of the lake in back.

Summary: Staff was polite. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights at the attached bar/restaurant. Very pretty environment. Rooms could use some updating, but overall it was a nice little pitstop along the way.
