Positive: Pieter and Claudie and the team were really nice hosts. Friendly and helpful in every way. Our very pleasant chalet was comfortable and had great views across the valleys in front. The trail walks were good and gave us an opportunity to exercise in a natural surrounding, which was very much needed after spending days driving around the Kruger and Blyde Canyon area.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Pieter and Claudie were excellent hosts. The room was lovely with fantastic views across the valley. The food was fantastic. The whole team did their upmost to look after us

Negative: Ikelta is easy to get to and its n a tranquil and quiet location. If you need to be close to shops, restaurants and bars this may not be the place for you .

Positive: Pieter and Claudie are wonderful hosts and we had such a great time. It’s a unique and special place, so relaxing and calm. Food was delicious and the chalet is really charming with fantastic views from the private porch. I really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. It’s the perfect location for the Panorama Route and Pieter and Claudie provided us with really helpful recommendations.

Positive: Our private thatched roof villa was large and luxurious. The remote location provided a lovely and relaxing view of the surrounding undisturbed landscape. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming, charming, and very happy to engage in conversation. Their hospitality was perhaps the warmest we encountered in our lengthy South African journey. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Each were freshly cooked and delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the nature trails.

Negative: Missed the lapa which was a good place to chat and relax but which after a fire, has been replaced by a Safari type tent, not so relaxing. The included evening meal was rather basic, no choice really but the breakfast was very good.
